In order for everyone to enjoy our water, the Water and Sewage Bureau inspects the water based on the following points outlined in the Water Supply Act:
●Water Quality Standards - Items
Over 51 contaminants including E. coli, lead, iron, nitrate nitrogen, trihalomethane, organic matter, non-ionic surfactant, etc.
●Establishing Water Quality Management Goals - Items
25 other contaminants including uranium, nickel, toluene, carbonic acid, pesticides, etc.
●Original Items
Sulfate ion, total acidity, soluble silicic acid, filtration microscopy, etc.
