Paying Your Bill/料金のお支払い

Last Update : 2025/12/9 13:08

In Kumamoto City, there are three ways to pay fees.

[Electronic Transfer Payment]
The first option is electronic transfer payment. Once you sign up, your payment will be automatically deducted from your designated account on the 25th of each month.

If the 25th falls on a Saturday/Sunday/holiday, the amount will be deducted on the next business day. If there is an insufficient balance in your account, the amount will be withdrawn on the 10th of the following month.

To apply, please go to a bank or Japan Post Bank (post office) with: 1) Your receipt; 2) Your bankbook; and 3) Your seal
Alternatively, you can request the Waterworks and Sewerage Bureau to send you an application form.

If you need an application form, please call the Waterworks and Sewerage Bureau Customer Center (096-381-1118).
The electronic payment procedure takes about two months to complete. Once the procedure is finished, you will receive a notification in the mail.

You can also complete the procedure on the Waterworks and Sewarage Bureau website (available for only some financial institutions).
