In Kumamoto City there are two methods for paying your bill.
Bank Account Transfer
One method is the electronic account transfer. If you apply for this, your bill amount will be deducted from your account every month on the 25th.
If the 25th falls on a Saturday/Sunday/holiday, the amount will be deducted on the next business day. If there is an insufficient balance in your account, the amount will be withdrawn on the 10th of the following month.
To apply, please go to a bank or Japan Post Bank (post office) with: 1) Your receipt 2) Your bankbook 3) Your seal
Alternatively, you can request the Water and Sewerage Authority to send you an application form.
